| Tenby's inshore lifeboat unloads the casualty this morning | What seemed to be a cliff-top party near Tenby in the early hours of this morning resulted in an emergency service call out, after two women fell down onto rocks.
Tenby’s inshore RNLI lifeboat was launched at 7.25am this morning following reports that two people had fallen around one mile north-east of Tenby’s lifeboat station.
Several people had been at the scene and are believed to have been drinking alcohol. Most of the party had made their way to sea level via a pathway, while two of the group had scrambled along the rocks and fallen.
The volunteer RNLI crew arrived at the scene to find one of the casualties with a suspected broken ankle. The casualty was stabilised and taken aboard the inshore RNLI lifeboat to a waiting ambulance at Tenby Harbour.
It is believed the other reported casualty had sustained more serious injuries but had fled back to a nearby campsite. Local coastguards are attempting to find the casualty to ensure the necessary treatment was offered.
